Is the Virtual IT Manager Support required?
If you only require the base care software solution then you are not required to purchase the Virtual IT Manager, however if you require our help desk support and management of your IT infrastructure then these two solutions link together to ensure support is fully covered.
Is there additional software included?
No if you require additional software soutions then please reach out and we can quote on this seperately.
Can these solutions be mixed and matched?

What would qualify as a small business?
This is based purely on your IT Infrastructure and would include basic IT set ups such as Telephones, CCTV, a single network switch and single server/back up solution.
What would qualify as a small/medium business?
This is based purely on your IT Infrastructure and would include a moderately more complex system, that would include telephones, CCTV, 2-3 network management devices and 2-3 server/backup solutions.
What would qualify as a medium business?
This is based purely on your IT Infrastructure and would include a significantly more complex system, that would include telephones, CCTV, multiple network infrastructure devices, and more complex server solution with multiple VMs and back ups.
Will this service include user and desktop support?
No, this solution is for your infrastructure support, due to software and licensing requirements and to tailor the support you need this is not included, however this is more beneficial running along side our user and device support.

Is this the same as getting Cyber Essentials certified?
No. This is an independent audit against the Cyber Essentials framework. It gives you a clear picture of where you stand and what you’d need to do to achieve certification, but certification itself is a separate process with an accredited assessor. We can advise on the right next steps once the audit is complete.
Do we need Cyber Essentials certification?
Some contracts, particularly public sector and MOD supply chain work, require it. Even if yours don’t, the standard is a solid baseline for any small business that takes security seriously.
How long does the audit take?
The assessment is typically done remotely and takes half a day, with a report to follow within five working days.
